Meet the Team

Rick Shipman started business in 1991 as a single proprietor. In the beginning, staff consisted of Rick and three employees who specialized in concrete work in southeast Missouri..

In 1993, Rick expanded his service area and did several jobs as a subcontractor with other construction companies with Wal-Mart contracts. The following year, Rick was given the opportunity to work directly for Wal-Mart as his own General Contractor on smaller and special projects.

In 1999, Rick was awarded several contracts as the General Contractor for full remodels on existing Wal-Mart stores. Rick and his wife Barbara incorporated as an “S” corporation and have continued to expand services. The company has experienced strong, steady growth in size and sales volume each year and now employs over 100 individuals with plans to expand again in the near future.
